He served from 1997 to 2009 as an Associate Editor of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and now sits on the Editorial Board of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal, the official journal of IPRAS. In addition, he co-edited a 2000 page standard textbook of plastic surgery, Plastic Surgery, Indication and Practice, published by Elsevier that won Honorable Mention as the Outstanding Medical Textbook of the Year by the Association of American Publishers. He has been a guest lecturer over 250 times in over 30 countries, performed guest surgery as a visiting professor on numerous occasions and been interviewed around the world.
